Hi! I'm MJ Frey, PLACE Director at Advocacy Links. I have worked with Advocacy Links for over 10 years, previously as a case manager and mentor. I have worked for the PLACE Division since its inception and I believe strongly in the efforts of our program and the work of Advocacy Links. I love celebrating the successes and achievements of the individuals I have the privilege of meeting and supporting. My go-to downtime activity is visiting my brother's farm to play with the dogs. It lets me step back in time to the farmgirl I was in my youth. I look forward to learning about you and would love you meet you at one of our events!

Picture This! In Auburn
Picture This!
Interacting with a group of people who are looking for fun photography-focused interactions and activities. This is a photography group that will meet monthly to take pictures in line with a different theme each month. There are Picture This! groups offered in surrounding areas as well, and you have an opportunity to have your photos featured in Advocacy Links publications, social media, and websites if you choose!
Each participant should bring a camera (phone cameras are fine!) to take their own pictures and please wear comfortable shoes. We will be walking and exploring while we take our pictures. At the event, we will discuss our Facebook Photography group where participants can share their pictures with the group, and see what others came up with as well.
Themes include:
April – Spring, Happiness
May: People, Clouds, or Weather
June: Animals, Gardens
All ages are welcome but we ask that anyone 12 or younger have a chaperone attend with them. We ask that all participants (caregivers/parents/chaperones included) register so we can be prepared for your attendance. If there are no registrations, our event organizers will not be at the designated location at the time of the event. When you register and get your free ticket for this event, we will contact you directly with any updates on the event.
